Falling leaves draw magic circles
Branches shiver in the breeze
Summertime that seemed immortal
Fades to distant memories
Chirping flocks gather clouds
Countless raindrops melt on clay
Nuts find shelter underground
As sunlight withers day by day
Shrooms and fruit walk forest paths
Colours march to natures call
Soon a veil of snow will hatch
For now I spoil my eyes this fall
